Zoca Marketing — featured image

Zoca streamlines business tasks for independent professionals, freeing them to focus on their creative passions. By combining advanced AI, local SEO expertise, and high-converting website designs, Zoca helps beauty and wellness businesses convert every search and click into revenue.

In just six weeks, we transformed Zoca’s branding into a dynamic identity that drives their landing page, marketing, and product development. By collaborating with their engineering team, we delivered a polished result that elevated their brand and helped secure $9 million in funding.

A brand that needed to match the product

Zoca was building an AI-powered marketing platform for beauty and wellness businesses: salons, spas, fitness studios. They had product-market fit and traction, but the brand felt generic and didn’t reflect the energy of the product. With a fundraise approaching, the brand needed to do real work.

The target audience — independent beauty professionals — needed a brand that felt fun and empowering, not corporate. But Zoca also needed to project credibility to investors and enterprise partners. Finding that balance was the core design challenge.

Five palettes, one flexible system

We built a color system with five complete palettes (purple, blue, green, red, gold) with 8-level scales each. The richness of the palette gave the brand flexibility — marketing could feel vibrant while the product stayed focused.

Motion that serves the message

To bring the story to life, we created dynamic animations that captured the message in a way that’s fun, simple, and effortlessly savvy. Micro-animations conveyed key benefit statements in ways that felt dynamic but not gimmicky — every animation served the message.

Versatile components for scale

We crafted versatile base components for the landing page and SEO pages, ensuring seamless integration. These components allow another team to continue collaborating with Zoca, driving their product forward.

Personalized for Every Beauty and Wellness Business — five industry tile cards for Salons and Barbershops, Spas and Wellness Centers, Estheticians and Skincare, Massage Therapists, and Fitness Studios

Redesigning the conversion path

Zoca’s existing landing page had a problem: users struggled to navigate it on both mobile and desktop, and the core value propositions were buried. High drop-off rates and low activation signaled that the page wasn’t doing its job.

We restructured the page around one clear promise per section, with progressive disclosure for details. The hero went from feature-list to benefit-led: what Zoca does for your business, not what Zoca is.

The mobile experience was designed first. This forced clarity in the messaging and kept the conversion flow tight: fewer taps to demo request. Stronger typographic contrast, intentional whitespace, and consistent CTA placement gave the page rhythm.

Outcome

The rebrand helped Zoca close a $9M funding round. The landing page redesign improved conversion rates and qualified signups, while the design system provided a foundation for continued growth.

The brand work contributed directly to Zoca closing $9M in funding. The design system enabled the product team to maintain visual consistency as they expanded. The landing page redesign drove improved conversion rates and stronger positioning in investor conversations.

A custom landing page, SEO page templates, and a comprehensive design system with core elements for all product needs — everything Zoca needed to stay on track, achieve their goals, and close out 2024 with $9M raised.
